Hubble photographs comet ATLAS breaking up!: Predicted to be the best comet to fly by Earth in decades, astronomers now hope that C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS) will answer many questions about comets. Furthermore, the Hubble Space Telescope took this amazing photograph of ATLAS breaking up on April 23rd

NASA to name new telescope after the “Mother of Hubble”!: NASA’s new infrared telescope WFIRST is going to be named after Nancy Grace Roman. Nancy Roman is regarded as the “Mother of Hubble” is also the first NASA female chief and executive of astronomy. WFIRST is to launch later this year to investigate dark energy and aid in the exploration of exo-planets.

SpaceX launched astronauts to the ISS!: This has been all over the news and even made headlines last Saturday. SpaceX helped NASA launch American astronauts from American soil in an American rocket for the first time in 9 years! After being delayed because of the floridian weather, Falcon 9 launched from cape Canaveral at the kennedy space centre. This has opened a new era of space travel for america and also has helped SpaceX privatise more spaceflights!
